Science Bridging Program
BaCell3D 2026 is pleased to announce the continuation of the Science Bridging Program, which aims to connect international researchers with the Basel scientific community. The program offers a limited number of financial support grants to attendees who would otherwise be unable to participate in the conference.

Applications are open to all, with strong preference given to candidates who can demonstrate both a clear motivation to participate and a lack of alternative funding sources. This includes, in particular, applicants from underrepresented countries or newly established laboratories. In 2025, the selection committee supported 11 international researchers from South Africa, India, Australia, the USA, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Germany.
Grants may partially or fully cover expenses related to conference registration, accommodation, and travel. Please note that financial support is contingent upon active participation in the conference, either through a poster presentation or a selected short talk. All applications will be evaluated after the application deadline on March 20 and applicants will be notified of the outcome within three weeks.
