About BaCell 3D

The BaCell 3D conference serves as a dynamic platform for the convergence of pioneering minds in the field of organoid technologies, microphysiological systems, in vitro development and regeneration, disease modeling, and drug discovery.

Our mission is clear: to foster collaboration, inspire innovation, and accelerate progress in the realm of in-vitro multicellular systems. We envision a future where these cutting-edge technologies reshape the frontiers of developmental and biomedical research.

BaCell 3D takes place annually in Basel, Switzerland, welcoming not only the vast local organoid community but also enthusiasts and experts from around the world. We are committed to creating a vibrant ecosystem where knowledge-sharing thrives, ideas flourish, and new horizons emerge. Together, we aim to revolutionize the way we understand and harness the power of advanced multicellular systems.

Join us at BaCell 3D, where we embark on a journey to shape the future of science and medicine.

Science Bridging Program

BaCell3D 2025 is pleased to announce the Science Bridging Program that aims to connect international researchers to the Basel scientific community. The program will offer a limited number of financial support grants to attendees who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference. Applications are open to all, with a strong preference given to those who can demonstrate motivation for participation and lack of alternative funding sources, such as applicants coming from underrepresented countries or newly established labs.

Grants may partially or fully cover expenses related to conference registration, accommodation, and travel. Please note that financial support is contingent upon active participation in the conference, either through a poster presentation or a selected short talk. All submitted applications will be assessed at the application close date and participants will be notified within a week.

March 3 – April 28

Early Bird Registration & Abstract Submission Participants submitting an abstract for a poster or short talk are eligible for a significantly reduced registration fee. This initiative aims to encourage active contributions and enhance the quality of scientific exchange at the event.
